The Josefov showroom is not a sterile showcase of technical components, but a fully functioning home at real scale. At the heart of the space is professional KNX automation integrated with the Control4 system. We demonstrate live the range and comfort of home control — from iconic Ekinex and MDT design keypads and switches, through an elegant wall-mounted tablet and central Control4 remote, to voice control via Siri and Apple HomeKit thanks to 1Home integration.
One of the most powerful experiences is the intelligent lighting system that responds to the circadian rhythm — the body's natural biological cycle. The lighting architecture changes in intensity and colour temperature throughout the day, supporting focus during the day and preparing the body for rest in the evening. This is seamlessly complemented by automated shading and zone-based heating and cooling control for ideal thermal comfort in every room.
The pinnacle of Audio/Video is the completely invisible integration of a private home cinema. We built an immersive Dolby Atmos 3D sound field comprising 11 invisible or lacquered speakers and 2 subwoofers. The projection screen and the projector itself are quietly concealed in bespoke custom furniture with motorised deployment — the technology appears only when you truly want to experience it.
The showroom's main advantage is showcasing absolute freedom of control interface choice. Visitors can compare live control via Control4, 1Home, and Apple HomeKit. VOIX also has experience integrating additional specific interfaces used in demanding commercial and HORECA installations. The second centrepiece is a full home cinema without distracting elements — a total of 11 built-in speakers and 2 subwoofers are embedded or concealed directly in the interior, while the motorised projector and screen quietly emerge from bespoke custom furniture.

The entire space can be intuitively controlled via the Control4 remote or by voice. Through Siri you can easily invoke lighting scenes, adjust lighting or shading, while the complete multimedia and full cinema are managed by Control4. When a movie evening begins, the projector and screen quietly emerge from the furniture and the space is engulfed in three-dimensional sound. Only in that moment does one understand the true power of the PLAY SMART concept.”
